No invented numbers: these are counted from the site itself at build time (2026-09-07).
What each counter means and how it is produced
Every number above is computed by the build script from the site's own files at the moment the pages are generated. Nothing is typed in by hand, so a counter changes only when content changes.

| Translated guides | The number of translated guide files across the language folders (Arabic, Bengali, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Turkish, Urdu), each rendered at /<lang>/guides/<slug>. |
| Languages | English plus the languages with at least one translated guide. |
| Pages on this site | The core pages (home, guide and tool hubs, operators, company and legal pages), plus one page per tool, one per guide, and every generated page: companion, live, data, country pages, nationality pages, directory, glossary, translations, partners and impact. Pages marked noindex are still counted because they exist. |
| Free tools | The tools registered in the tools module: 4 on this site. |
| Countries covered | Entries in the Hajj countries data file, each with its own /from page. |

What we do not count
- Pilgrims helped. We run no analytics that identify people and no accounts, so we cannot honestly say how many pilgrims used the site or the companion. If we add privacy-preserving counting we will publish the method with the number.
- Enquiries and conversions. Quote requests are logged for handling, not reported, and the operator directory is still being built.
- Quality. A count of guides says nothing about accuracy; for that, see the sources on each page and the correction link.
Behind the counters
- Data files with sources: Hajj countries, nationalities, country facts, Saudi Ministry of Health lists, Saudi missions, Saudia routes, statistics, glossary, phrases and duas.
- Nine language versions of the interface, with right-to-left layout for Arabic and Urdu.
- An installable offline companion and a native app build of the same content.
Corrections
If a guide or a data point is wrong, email info@fourcents.ca or use the correction link on the page. We fix errors in the page itself and note the date at the top. Read more about how we work on the about page, and see the statistics page for the pilgrimage figures we publish with sources.
